Axel joined Simpack AG as a project engineer for multibody real-time simulation and combustion engine simulations in 2005 after graduating with a diploma in applied mathematics at the Friedrich-Alexander University in Erlangen, Germany. After engaging on several projects in the area of multibody system simulation he took over product management responsibility first for Simpack combustion engine applications and later for the complete Simpack standalone product.
Today he is the responsible product manager for integration of Simpack solver technology into the 3DEXPERIENCE platform through integrated native motion apps.
Adriano GAGLIARDI leads the cloud initiative for Dassault Systèmes SIMULIA within the Strategy team where he has been collaborating with diverse teams across the SIMULIA brand to drive transformation on cloud for over 5 years. Adriano joined Dassault Systèmes SIMULIA from the Exa Corporation acquisition in 2018, and he has over 17 years’ experience in CAE within the T&M, A&D, and Motorsport industries. Adriano has both an MEng in Aeronautical Engineering and a PhD in Computational Aerodynamics from the University of Glasgow.
Ross MCLENDON has worked with Dassault Systems for over 11 years working in support and development, and currently serves in R&D as the Abaqus Product Manager where he works with the development and field teams as well as customers to guide the development of Abaqus FEA to ensure it continues providing the premiere nonlinear mechanics simulation capabilities that DS customers rely on to solve their most challenging engineering problems.
Justin SACCO has worked with PowerFLOW for the past 16 years. He is currently a R&D Application Senior Manager for the Lattice-Boltzmann App. Management group. He has previous worked on the PowerFLOW Aerodynamics Applications, Physics Validation, and Customer Support teams during his time with Dassault Systems and Exa Corp. He has a M.S. and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University, with a focus on Fluids and Acoustics.
As a Roles Portfolio Director at 3DS, Eric GRALD leads the continuous improvement of our fluids simulation (CFD) products to meet our customer needs, target markets and new applications. He supports the internal and external communication of our Fluids portfolio and plans. Eric holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and University of Minnesota, respectively. He has over 30 years of experience in the CFD and engineering simulation software industry in the areas of technical sales, consulting services and product management.
Anthony GOFF is a software product manager with over 25 years’ experience in engineering software. His background spans fatigue analysis support, signal processing, and physical test data acquisition, alongside time as a software developer. Most recently, he has worked extensively as a process consultant at Dassault Systèmes, helping customers connect simulation and test into their engineering workflows.
Christina FEIST is a Portfolio Director at Dassault Systèmes with product management responsibilities for Design Exploration, Process Automation, and Generative Design applications. Over her 25-year career, she has spent the last 18 years at Dassault Systèmes in various roles, including product management, strategy, and application engineering. In addition, she enjoys working with customers to leverage the value of modeling and simulation solutions. Christina holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
Ilari HÄNNINEN works at Dassault Systèmes in Darmstadt, Germany, as senior portfolio manager for electromagnetics applications. He joined CST – Computer Simulation Technology AG, which Dassault Systèmes acquired in 2016, in 2008 where he worked as principal engineer and product manager. His main interests lie in the area of 3D electromagnetics simulations, cloud and high performance computing, especially in the field of high frequency applications such as wireless communications, antenna and component design, and EMC.
Ilari HÄNNINEN holds a Doctor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Aalto University, in Helsinki, Finland, where he studied fast and efficient frequency domain solution methods for electromagnetic simulations. He has over 20 years of experience in the domain of electromagnetic simulations both in academia and in industry, and over 10 years of experience product planning.
