Bernard Charlès has been Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dassault Systèmes, since January 2024. He served as the Company’s Chief Executive Officer from 1995 to 2022, and was Chairman & CEO in 2023.
Charlès started his career in the company in 1983 to develop new design technologies. In 1986, he founded a dedicated New Technologies, Research and Strategy department, and in 1988 was appointed President of Strategy, Research and Development.
He has helped instill a culture of ongoing innovation to further consolidate Dassault Systèmes’ scientific capabilities and make science part of the company’s DNA. Bernard Charlès is co-author with philosopher Pierre Musso of The Industry Renaissance, which discusses the power of virtual universes to sustainably transform industry.
He is a foreign member of the US National Academy of engineering and a member of the French Academy of Technology. He holds the rank of Commander in the “Légion d’honneur” (French Legion of Honor). He is a graduate of the Ecole Normale Supérieure engineering school in Cachan and has a PhD in mechanical engineering majoring in automation engineering and information science. He also holds an agrégation — the most senior teaching qualification achievable in France (specializing in mechanical engineering).
Florence VERZELEN is Dassault Systèmes’ Executive Vice President in charge of Industry, Marketing & Sustainability since 2018. Her role is to grow the portfolio of solutions and significantly increase the revenues of Dassault Systèmes in the 12 industries it serves, in order to achieve sustainable growth and rapid business development. To this end, she focus on creating “forward looking” industrial solutions that will help all industrial players to transform through digitalization. Florence has also created the sustainability function within Dassault Systèmes, with the vision that digital solutions can help transform the industries to help them become more sustainable. She is also leading Dassault Systèmes’ service organization, transforming its business model towards “outcome based” solutions.
Before this latest appointment, Florence was working at Engie, a world leader in the energy sector – holding different positions, as Business Development Vice President, Engie Qatar CEO, Performance Plan Vice President and finally Engie Europe COO.
Florence has an extensive experience in both public and private sector, having held different positions in the European Commission and the French Administration.
She is also an experienced board member, with board position at PSA and currently at Air France; CNES, the French Space Agency and Institut Montaigne, the leading think tank in France. Florence is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique / Corps des Mines.
Josephine ONG heads the Dassault Systèmes business in the Asia Pacific South region, covering Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia.
Her key mandate is driving sustainable value creation for our customers, achieved through identification of high potential market segments and addressing their critical business processes with technology that provides tangible and meaningful KPIs.
Hock Chuan has more than 15 years of experience championing Data & Model Centric solutions in the Asia Pacific South region. He is the Industry Process Consultant Senior Manager for Asia Pacific South, responsible for the 3DEXPERIENCE Works portfolio and helping companies to achieve sustainable innovation.
Prior to Dassault Systèmes, he worked in the HPC (High Performance Computing) industry, where he led in the setup of SaaS models for local SMEs to enhance their competitiveness by tapping on national HPC simulation resources.
He has also worked in the Oil & Gas industry where he digitalized equipment servicing processes to reduce cycle time and improve Quality and HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) KPIs of Oil & Gas plants.
Alvin CHEN is the Industry Process Consultant manager for manufacturing industries in the Asia Pacific South region, covering Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia.
Alvin has over 11 years of experience in the manufacturing industry with international experience in the United States, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
He has manufacturing experience starting from a field automation engineer, working with SaaS and PaaS cloud solutions for manufacturing, to championing the 3DEXPERIENCE platform in order to help companies achieve higher performance and greater efficiencies.
He graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in the United States with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Prasad leads CATIA’s Global Industry Process Success (IPS) organization in Dassault Systèmes for Building & Civil Infrastructure.
A passionate civil engineer with 24 years of profound experience implementing digital transformation in construction, Prasad is a strong preacher of computational design and process automation with Virtual Twins for building and civil infrastructure projects. He finds himself fortunate to be on driver’s seat while construction industry is going through an Industrial Renaissance all over the world.
Alan is the SIMULIA Sales Director for AP South and is responsible for the Sales Management of the SIMULIA products. Prior to this role, he was also the technical leader for SIMULIA in AP South. Alan Joined DS Japan in 2009 as a presales consultant, progressing to Fatigue Lead in the Asia Pacific.
Prior to DS, Alan worked in a Japanese consulting company responsible for structural and geotechnical analysis. He also worked as a Postdoctoral researcher for the Tokyo Institute of Technology, under the Center of Urban Earthquake Engineering. Before Japan, He was a member of the faculty at the University of the Philippines, teaching Solid Mechanics, Advanced Engineering Mathematics, and Design of Concrete and Steel Structures.
He holds a doctorate from the Department of Civil Engineering, Tokyo Institute of Technology, and had his Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of the Philippines, Diliman.

Trained in mechanical engineering, Prashanth Mysore offers deep expertise and 22 years of experience in technical portfolio management, digital transformation and product lifecycle management (PLM) platform solutions consulting across a wide range of industrial sectors, notably Energy & Materials, Marine & Offshore, and Aerospace & Defense with experience in multiple countries.

Ralph SMITH commenced his career in the mining sector, initially working in geospatial engineering before moving into mining engineering. He is passionate about the need and benefits of business transformation, creating value and solving industry challenges. While the industry focuses on change, he has contributed to transformation for over 25 years.
During his professional career, he has worked on diverse projects, from 100kt to 30Mt production objectives across a range of commodities e.g. gold; copper; lead; zinc; silver; uranium; nickel; iron ore, talc; rare earths; and mineral sands around the globe.
He saw Dassault Systemes as the company with an established record of achieving business transformation in various industries, joining to lead the mining and infrastructure services globally and deliver value and facilitate positive change.
Corinne has over 20 years of experience in various fields of engineering and construction, including Energy and Major Infrastructure projects. She has led multidisciplinary teams on large hydroelectric projects for the realization of 3D design and the preparation of plans and specifications for bidding documents and construction documents. She also participated in the turnkey project for the expansion of the Sainte-Justine Children's Hospital as Deputy Director. In her role as Vice-President Operational Processes and technological innovations, Corinne has overseen the strategy and roadmap development of INFRA Engineering major projects operational processes as well as 3D solutions and lifecycle management to ensure successful delivery.
She has work with leaders from Construction and Operation & Maintenance to align engineering processes to the Integrated Project Delivery Model especially for Rail & Transit projects. Corinne's mission, as Industry VP for Infrastructure, Energy and Materials for Dassault Systèmes, will be to support businesses and people in achieving their goal to develop sustainable, innovative and more effective projects using virtual experiences. Klaus ROOS has worked at Brose for more than 20 years, beginning as ERP Project Manager, then progressing to Logistics and IT Manager and, ultimately, General Manager of the operation in Changchun, China. In his current role as Head of Production Strategy, Roos is responsible for plans that define how technology should be utilized to enable Brose’s overall business strategy and future development.

He joined Dassault Systemes in 2001 … From 2001 to 2013, when he was part of DASSAULT SYSTEMES INDUSTRY SERVICES, he managed multiple technical roles, from CATIA Expert on Fluid & 3D Master. Since he joined 3DS, he capitalized on his former experience and acquired wide-range of technical and sales experiences providing him all the expertise and talents required for this new role. He led these 8 last years the CATIA Industry Process Experts on INFRASTRUCTURE & TERRITORIES for developing the “Process Based Design” adoption, based on Systems Engineering approach.

Dr. Peter GRAHAM is Solution Director for the mining segment within the Infrastructure, Energy & Materials Industry division of Dassault Systèmes. He is both a Chartered Mining Engineer and Chartered IT Professional based in Europe with over 40 years experience in the mining industry. Before joining Dassault Systèmes, he has worked extensively in mining operations, consulting and research and development. He was formerly a policy advisor to the International Finance Corporation and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
His current role in Dassault Systèmes is to ensure that mining customers can unlock value from their operations by applying the most appropriate technology.
Lastina HUTAPEA is a mining engineer, who graduated from Sriwijaya University 17 years ago. She used to work for GEMCOM (now GEOVIA) but left for a few years. She rejoined Dassault Systèmes about 4 years ago as a member of GEOVIA services team in AP South. Now, she is an Industry Process Consultant, supporting the sales team for GEOVIA pre-sales and client support activities in topics such as Geology Modelling, Mine Planning, and Short Term Mine Planning.
Andrew COWAN, as Investment Commissioner, leads the Territory Government’s promotion and attraction of investment in the Territory.
Andrew has extensive experience delivering complex projects and driving strategic government priorities, most recently in the strategic defence relations, regional development, digital and tourism sectors.
Prior to joining the Department of Chief Minister and Cabinet, Andrew was the Deputy Chief Executive Officer the Department of Trade, Business and Innovation, with responsibility for international engagement, trade and investment, workforce development and small business.
He has over 2 decades of executive leadership experience in the public and private sectors, joining the Territory Government in 2010.
Andrew has tertiary qualifications in science and education, and is an Executive Fellow of the Australia and New Zealand School of Government.
