I joined HKS in 2001 after periods of general FEA consultancy and industrial (high voltage cables) experience. Most of this consultancy involved Abaqus in some form but also included some CFD and FSI related applications. As manager of the Southern UK Office of HKS, I continued to develop solutions for customers using Abaqus Standard and Explicit and became involved again in CFD applications with the development of our own solver and the purchase of XFlow in 2016. My broad knowledge of Engineering applications enabled me to become a Fellow of the I.Mech.E in 2013.
