Vincent Wiers obtained his Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management Science in 1993 at the Eindhoven University of Technology (TUE), specializing in Information Systems for Production and Inventory Control. In 1997, he achieved his Ph.D. on the Human Factor in Production Control at the same university. After working for various consulting companies in knowledge technology and supply chain management, Vincent founded the consultancy company Twinlog in 2003, focusing on implementing the DELMIA Quintiq planning software.
In 2019, Vincent decided to join Dassault Systèmes as part of the DELMIA Brand organization. Now, as part of the team of Industry Process Experts, he focuses on planning architectures, and creating a bridge between complex manufacturing companies and the DELMIA Quintiq supply chain planning and optimization solutions.
Besides his professional pursuits, Vincent Wiers is a well-respected author. He has published various books on Production Control, Supply Chain Management and Advanced Planning & Scheduling. He has also written numerous papers and blog posts on this topic. Demonstrating a commitment to education and training, Vincent facilitates the yearly Master’s course on Advanced Planning & Scheduling at TUE.
