Having joined Dassault Systèmes in 2012, Christina has worked primarily on Block Caving and Sub-Level Caving projects, performing software training and completing feasibility studies. She is now focused on developing cross brand synergies across the DS portfolio to deliver maximum value to the mining industry. Christina is based in Montreal, Canada.
Matt BLATTMAN is an engineering manager with Hecla Mining’s corporate team, based in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and has been using GEOVIA products for more than 25 years, including Surpac, MineSched and Whittle. Matt holds a B.S. in mining engineering from the Mackay School of Mines at the University of Nevada, Reno, is registered professional engineer and is a 25-year member of SME.
Prior to joining Hecla, he worked for Dassault Systèmes as the Director of Technical Services in the GEOVIA Center of Excellence for the Americas. Before working with GEOVIA, he was the Managing Director for Blattman Brothers Consulting, a small mining consultancy and 3D printing provider, based in Houston, Texas. When he founded Blattman Brothers in 2010, he was the senior engineer for Northland Resources, working to open several green- and brownfield IOCG operations in northern Sweden and Finland. Previously, Blattman worked for Cemex USA as a corporate mining manager, with Mine Development Associates as a senior mining engineer and as an engineer at Hecla’s Rosebud mine.
