Davide graduated in Aerospace Engineering with a specialization in Aerodynamics at Politecnico di Milano. After his master, he worked in a famous aerospace and defense Italian group as aircraft preliminary design engineer, and later in a CFD consultant company where he expanded his knowledge to several other engineering fields, working with Navier-Stokes based codes and taking care of 3D-1D CFD code coupling. He moved then to Japan where he started working with LBM codes in Exa Corp. (now Dassault Systèmes) and got involved with The University of Tokyo for research involving adjoint methods for scalar source characterization in turbulent flows. Finally, he joined Dassault Systèmes, first in the Airframe A&D team, and later in the Acoustics Discipline Enablement team, where he currently uses mainly PowerFLOW for airframe aerodynamics and aeroacoustics.
