Patrick JOHNSON is Executive Vice President, Corporate Research & Sciences at Dassault Systèmes. His mission is to define the scientific bases of the company’s solutions and invent disruptive technologies for the Industry Renaissance.
After joining in 1996, he held various positions in R&D, from Product Lifecycle Management foundations to product design for the CATIA flagship brand. In 2001, leading the Artificial Intelligence department, he contributed to important new practices now adopted in the industry for knowledge & know-how capture and automation.
Head of Research in 2004, he initiated many strategic technologies, resulting in key innovative products and patents and significantly grew the innovation ecosystem promoting multiple public/private partnerships with prestigious research institutes.
Finally, he launched a new diversification field for the company, with the BioIntelligence European research program, resulting in an innovative modeling, simulation and big data application suite for the life sciences sector, and the creation of the BIOVIA brand.
Mr. Johnson is based at 3DS world headquarters near Paris and is a member of the National Academy of Technology as well as of the scientific board of INRIA.
Marijana Novak is Circle Economy's Data Strategist. She is responsible for building the information architecture for the organization's digital products and research. She works alongside technical and knowledge partners to design and develop the data and knowledge platforms, frameworks, and content and additionally is rallying a global community to power those platforms. Marijana has a background in Actuarial Science, Sustainable Finance, and risk modelling using big data for real estate, the built environment and the economy. She has been active in the circular economy research field for over 7 years and develops & supports circular ventures alongside her day-to-day.
Emmanuel has a Master degree in aerospace engineering from ISAE Supaero and joined EXA Corporation as an Application Engineer specializing in fluid dynamics.
At EXA, I had the opportunity to work on various projects including aerodynamics, aeroacoustics and thermal simulations for several industries such rail, industrial equipment and aerospace. I also led the technical deployment of PowerFLOW at SAFRAN Aircraft Engines, before managing all technical activities for CFD simulations with SAFRAN. Since the beginning of the pandemic, I have worked to help our hospitals by adapting my expertise in CFD simulations for particle propagation issues and I am currently actively working with different hospitals in France on virus propagation and air quality simulations.
Mr. ROUX holds a language degree from Catholic University and a business degree from Ecole Superieure de Commerce in Grenoble, France.
He started his career in 1989 in the CAD-CAM Market as Sales Engineer & Sales Director selling Computer-Aided Machining and Shopfloor solution for CncMachines. He then joined TECNOMATIX in 1996, specialized in Manufacturing Processes Simulation, and occupied the position of Managing Director in UK & Sweden. He joined Exain in 2001 as managing director for Southern and Western Europe. In April 2003 Mr. ROUX assumed the position of President of European Operations and in 2014 became also responsible for the Global Aerospace activity within Exa.
Since April 2018 and after the acquisition of Exaby Dassault Systemesin November 2017, Jean-Paul leads the Sales Operation for EMEAR / INDIA for SIMULIA.
Simon HUFFETEAU leads the Construction, Cities and Territories Industry organization of Dassault Systèmes, a European multinational software company that develops 3D design, 3D digital mock-up, and product lifecycle management solutions.
He is responsible for the solutions and worldwide strategy for the architecture, engineering, and construction sector, utilities, as well as cities, and territorial authorities.
Mr. HUFFETEAU joined Dassault Systèmes in 2014 in Boston, where he was in charge of the business consulting for the Energy sector. Prior to that, Mr. HUFFETEAU worked for the French Nuclear Safety Authority (ASN) as the head of a regional office.
Mr. HUFFETEAU holds a Master of Public Administration and a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from the École des Ponts ParisTech and a Master of Science from the École Polytechnique.
