Join this webinar and learn more about different modeling, simulation, and optimization applications from CPG around plastic bottles, including structural, plastic injection, and fluids.
Using realistic simulation for virtual prototypes instead of physical testing helps to become faster in product development in all industries, also in CPG-R. For plastic bottles, one of the most used packages for primary packaging in this industry, we can find applications from different physics: besides the structural behavior of the bottles and caps, the production process the manufacturing of the plastic parts themselves needs to be considered, for example by simulation of plastic injection molding. Also fluid dynamics simulations can play an important role in creating bottles and caps for improved behavior in the production line or a better consumer experience.
In this webinar, we will show CPG-related applications around rigid plastic bottles covering the above-mentioned aspects and physics. As all simulations are built and executed with the Dassault Systemes 3DEXPERIENCE platform using the MODSIM approach, design updates can be applied easily on all downstream simulation models, and parametric design studies can be set up and executed in a very simple way. You will see simulation and optimization applications around bottles for shampoo, water, and detergents and we’ll show a fully automated wall thickness optimization for most relevant loading scenarios that can be started by a non-expert user from a Web UI.
