Adriano GAGLIARDI leads the cloud initiative for Dassault Systèmes SIMULIA within the Strategy team where he has been collaborating with diverse teams across the SIMULIA brand to drive transformation on cloud for over 5 years. Adriano joined Dassault Systèmes SIMULIA from the Exa Corporation acquisition in 2018, and he has over 17 years’ experience in CAE within the T&M, A&D, and Motorsport industries. Adriano has both an MEng in Aeronautical Engineering and a PhD in Computational Aerodynamics from the University of Glasgow.
Ross MCLENDON is the Product Manager for Abaqus FEA within the SIMULIA R&D organization. Prior to assuming this role at the beginning of 2023, he worked in R&D as a mechanics developer for the Abaqus solvers and the Material Calibration App for 3DEXPEREIENCE after starting at DS in 2013 as a member of the back-end mechanics support team. He additionally managed the development of the Micromechanics Plugin for Abaqus/CAE, which is used throughout industry and academia for FE-RVE simulation. He holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University, where his research focused on the multiscale material simulation of composites.

The Abaqus finite element solvers are the core technology behind SIMULIA's class-leading realistic structural simulation capability, empowering our customers to address today's most challenging engineering problems using the 3DEXPERIENCE platform or the Abaqus FEA applications. This talk will cover recent updates that have been made in the Abaqus FEA, ranging from new capabilities in coupled field analyses needed to enable the new wave of electrification to performance improvements that enable analysts to rapidly solve ever-larger problems.
As a Roles Portfolio Director at Dassault Systèmes, Brett CONARD leads the continuous improvement of our structures simulation products to meet our customer needs, target markets and applications. He supports the internal and external communication of our Structures portfolio and plans. Brett holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Civil/Structural Engineering from Iowa State University. He has over 25 years of experience in the structural engineering simulation software industry in the areas of technical support, sales, consulting services and product management.
