Karl D'SOUZA is a computational modeling and simulation professional with extensive experience in technology consulting, product management, and business development as they pertain to simulation-based solutions for science and technology companies.
In his current role as SIMULIA Life Sciences & Healthcare Industry Process Director, he is responsible for developing and promoting novel and high value applications of Modeling & Simulation for medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and patient care.
Prior to his current role, he helped grow Dassault Systèmes’ Virtual Human Modeling initiative with a special focus on cardiovascular and neurological applications and was a founding member of the Living Heart Project and product manager of the Living Heart Human Model.
Karl has a B. Tech in Materials Science and Engineering from IIT Bombay, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from SUNY Buffalo, and an MBA from Bryant University, and is based in Providence, RI, USA
Tilmann WITTIG is a Director of SIMULIA Industry Process Consultants at Dassault Systèmes. He provides expertise in various simulation domains such as antenna and bio-medical simulations as well as computational dosimetry. He holds a Dipl.-Ing. degree in telecommunications and a Ph.D. in electromagnetic simulation technology from the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany.
