Dr.-Ing. Abolhasan GIASHI is a mechanical engineer with over 13 years of experience in finite element method (FEM) simulations. He completed his master's degree in Computational Engineering at TU Dresden in 2015, where he developed a strong foundation in numerical modeling and computational mechanics, particularly in the behavior of polymer and rubber materials and tire structure performance. Following his master's studies, he pursued a Ph.D. as part of an industrial promotion program.
In 2019, after completing his Ph.D., he joined SIG Combibloc as a simulation engineer. He specializes in developing and implementing FEM simulation models for packaging converting processes, material improvements, process optimizations, as well as the design of packaging tools and machinery. His expertise lies in enhancing the performance and sustainability of packaging materials through advanced numerical methods and simulation-driven insights, contributing to innovative and efficient packaging solutions.
