In this e-seminar, we will talk about the advances in SIMULIA’s multiscale materials modeling, including Mean Field Homogenization and realistic industrial examples.
Materials are the core to modern society. Discovery and development in material science drives innovation and revolution in almost every industry, and is at the very center to each of the rising technologies today, e.g., new battery materials that is able to store a large amount of energy in a small space with high stability will drive tomorrow’s transportation; new semiconductor materials development pushes the limit of computation capabilities.
We are in the middle of a materials revolution today. However, new materials development today is becoming more complex than ever before. The world is in need of advanced materials such as composite materials, programmable materials, and functional integrated materials. Such need requires better understanding of the materials from deep down to the very molecular scale and all the way up through its synthesis, manufacture and macroscale performance.
