Sandeep Kumar is a senior engineering consultant with Dassault Systèmes (DS) in its Energy & Materials Group. In this role, Sandeep helps energy companies worldwide explore, find, and build simulation-based solutions to complex engineering problems in areas of energy storage systems. His areas of expertise include simulation-based approaches to design and optimization of Li-ion battery materials and systems. Prior to joining Dassault Systèmes, Sandeep served as a senior research engineer at ExxonMobil Upstream Research Company for 5 years. He holds a master's and a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering – both earned from MIT.
