Ashley MASTERSON has worked at Dassault Systèmes for the past four years which were spent focused on technical Modelling and Simulation within the Life Sciences domain. She has played a key role in the continued development of Dassault's Living Heart Project and finds enjoyment in helping customers solve various life sciences problems. Her background includes a Biomedical Engineering degree from Wichita State University where she conducted undergraduate research combining biomedical applications with machine learning and programming.
Salwa Anam joined Dassault Systemes as a modeling and simulation industry process consultant in June 2024. Prior to that she was completing her PhD in biomedical engineering in Stony Brook University, New York. She has experience in patient specific anatomical model reconstruction as well as modeling simulation focusing on life sciences. She worked on developing virtual models of patients with congenital heart defect. She also worked on developing computational modeling workflow to perform heart valve replacement procedure virtually in patient specific models, and utilizing the workflow to predict periprocedural complications and compare device performances.
