MBSE became more and more prevalent in systems engineering of complex systems. The majority of MBSE activities use SysML models to describe certain aspects and concerns like e.g. requirements, behavior and architecture. However a diverse set of models is required - and practically used  -in order to analyse and describe a system holistically.  Of course these models  exist in a broad variety of modeling languages and tools. Therefore a holistic view at MBSE is presented as part of the engineering and lifecycle management processes.
