Port of Rotterdam's belief is that digital is an important enabler in improving the competitive position. In order to attract smart services improving the supply chain via Port of Rotterdam, the basics need to be in place: standardization, data sharing, and interoperability.
And in today's world, engagement with platforms is essential. The Port Authority drives this for Port of Rotterdam and continuously builds its ecosystem to support digital development.

Fahim is a Global Ports advisor within Accenture and leads the Ports, logistics, and Industry X.0 agenda with a focus on robotics in the Middle East. His Primary topics include defining overall corporate strategy for port operators, digitalizing berth, yard and gate operations, drafting overall technology strategy and governance, and setting up and activating global transformation programs within the ports and logistics domain.
Fahim has an MBA from Lancaster University UK specializing in supply chain and business strategy. He is based out of the Dubai office of Accenture.
