Christophe KLEINCLAUS, leads a team in the Aerospace & Defense industry, with focus on Propulsion and Turbomachinery. He and his team develop methodologies to validate and streamline simulation workflows across SIMULIA’s entire portfolio to address the specific needs of the turbomachinery market.
Christophe holds an M.Sc in Aerospace Engineering from ISAE in Toulouse. He started his career at MTU Aero Engines, working on blade design and process optimization for LP turbines and HP compressors. In 2007 he joined the PowerFLOW team in Munich to support the deployment of LBM fluid simulation across several industries: from aero-thermal for cars and trucks to aero-acoustics for the aerospace market.
In the last five years, his focus is back to turbomachinery, combining his engineering background and long experience in flow-driven simulation to address the requirements of this demanding segment. He and his team have the target to align customer present and future workflows with SIMULIA’s capabilities to help turbomachinery customer through the upcoming challenges.
Jonas VERRIÈRE has been working on aerospace, turbomachinery and acoustic applications with PowerFLOW for the last 4 years. With the primary focus on propulsion, he is currently working as an Expert Specialist in the Industry Process Success group.
Prior to working with LBM codes at Exa Corporation, Jonas worked with Navier-Stokes based codes as a turbomachinery application engineer, before joining the Airbus aerodynamic department where he expanded his knowledge in RANS/LES jet simulations and engine integration.
Jonas has an M.Sc in Aerospace engineering from the Ecole Centrale de Lyon. He received his PhD in Computational Fluid Dynamics from the Paris University Pierre & Marie Curie, in corporation with the Onera – the French Aerospace Lab.
Brent FILLERY, SIMULIA Industry Process Consultant, Senior Specialist, is currently part of the AP South team leading SIMULIA engagements within South East Asia and Australia. He has a background in structural mechanics, with a specific focus on fatigue and fracture, and extensive experience with process automation and robust design workflow implementation. Prior to returning to Australia in 2019, he lead structural analysis teams associated with aero and industry gas turbine development programs. During this period he contributed to the development of hardware and technology spanning Fan, Compressor, Combustor and Turbine sub-systems including entry into service and test vehicle platforms. Here he gained first hand knowledge in topics such as whole engine and component level thermo-mechanical modelling, rotatives engineering, airfoil structural dynamics and rotor-dynamics.
