Adrian SPRAGG is a Major Projects Executive at Laing O’Rourke, focused on the transformation of nuclear, defence and major infrastructure programmes through digital innovation, AI, and integrated delivery.
With over 30 years’ experience across more than 70 major capital projects, Adrian has built a career spanning project turn aro und, digital transformation, and systems engineering across sectors including nuclear, aerospace, defence, shipbuilding, and infrastructure.
Before taking on his current role, Adrian served as Group Head of Digital at Laing O’Rourke, where he led the digital team across Europe, the Middle East, and Australia, overseeing a portfolio of more than 65 projects. He previously held senior roles in the industry, including UK Aerospace and Defence Leader and Global Maritime Leader at Accenture, bringing extensive first-hand experience in the digitalisation of complex capital programmes.
Adrian is recognised as an experienced advisor and speaker, who believes in blending strategic thinking with practical, human centred approaches to innovation and delivery. His work aims to push the boundaries of how data, digital technologies, and AI can drive certainty and drive capital outcomes outcomes – particularly through shared learning between industries.
Nick spent 37 years with Shell and has extensive experience of managing both complex global portfolios as well as multi billion pound projects in senior leadership/Project Director roles. He spent the last 6 years of his Shell career as their Chief Project Engineer, accountable for how projects were delivered and as global discipline head. After retiring from Shell, he took on the role of CEO for the Infrastructure & Projects Authority in Central Government - The IPA was the centre of excellence for project management and assurance for the Governments most major and complex projects covering infrastructure, IT, Transformation and defence.
After 5 years in that role Nick decided to change and pursue a new challenge in supporting the unique and exciting opportunity to help GBN grow and develop the SMR opportunities to commercial production. Nick is a chartered Mechanical Engineer, a Chartered Project Professional, a Fellow of the institution of Civil Engineers and a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering. He received a CBE in the 2024 Kings Birthday Honours.
Outside of work, Nick likes to swim, walk in the countryside and go sailing.
Aneela leads the Infrastructure, Energy, and Materials business across Northern Europe at Dassault Systèmes.
She has over 20 years of experience across multiple industries, including nuclear, infrastructure, energy, materials, automotive, public sector, and consumer goods, and disciplines including strategic business consulting, supply chain management, and product lifecycle management.
Aneela has spent the last 7 years working in nuclear new build, helping our customers to create Virtual Twins of their plant and processes, in order for them to manage their programmes.
Franck BRÉMONT is a Pre-Sales engineer with more than ten years of experience in Dassault Systèmes software. He focuses on the data science portfolio, specializing in analytics and AI-driven digital transformation.
