This tutorial will explore the design of an infusion pump using system engineering principles and the CATIA Magic Cyber Systems Engineer modeling toolset. Attendees will get hands-on experience in capturing and importing data, creating system design artifacts in the Systems Engineering Modeling Language (SysML) and presenting the design of the system in the modeling environment. 

This tutorial is a "hands-on" tutorial where the attendees will be able to follow along with the instructor to build a model of a Generic Patient Controller Analgesic (GPCA) device. The model will start with a set of user needs and build off of this information to build a conceptual and then a logical model of the system design. The students will build Requirement, Structural, Behavior, Interface diagrams as part of building the system design model.
