Mauro is the current Chief Executive Officer of GEOVIA, a Dassault Systèmes brand, which provides digital solutions focused on the intersection of natural resources, infrastructure and urban planning. GEOVIA solutions empower a diverse community of geoscientists, earth engineers, and urban planners to access the information and insights they need to make informed decisions that balance economic, environmental, and social considerations, ensuring the responsible use and development of the earth's resources.
With almost 30 years of international business leadership and operations experience, Mauro has held several leadership and management positions, leading to his current role as GEOVIA CEO. He previously served at Schneider Electric for seven years and spent 20 years at Rockwell Automation.
Mauro's strategic and disciplined planning methodologies have led his teams to successful outcomes while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment across business units and individuals. He holds an Electrical and Electronics Engineering degree from Niagara College, Canada, and is an alumnus of the prestigious INSEAD business school. Mauro is passionate about technology and its impact on industries, describing himself as a technology geek.

Ralph SMITH commenced his career in the mining sector, initially working in geospatial engineering before moving into mining engineering. He is passionate about the need and benefits of business transformation, creating value and solving industry challenges. While the industry focuses on change, he has contributed to transformation for over 25 years.
During his professional career, he has worked on diverse projects, from 100kt to 30Mt production objectives across a range of commodities e.g. gold; copper; lead; zinc; silver; uranium; nickel; iron ore, talc; rare earths; and mineral sands around the globe.
He saw Dassault Systemes as the company with an established record of achieving business transformation in various industries, joining to lead the mining and infrastructure services globally and deliver value and facilitate positive change.
