Saulius PAVALKIS is the Global MBSE EcoSystem Director at Dassault Systemes, MBSE R&D Cyber Portfolio Manager – NAM. He has 20 years of MBSE adoption experience in MBSE ecosystem, digital engineering, system architecture and simulation as Cameo co-creator and consultant. He is on the CSE Board of Advisors the University of Texas at Arlington. He received the INCOSE ESEP, OMG OCSMP, No Magic lifetime modeling and simulation excellence award. He holds a PhD in Software engineering in models queries, and is the owner and main contributor to the largest MBSE Execution YouTube community with 5300 members, and is also the public MBSE community owner at Dassault Systemes - go.3ds.com/cyber-systems. Saulius contributed to the MBSE SysML based method and framework MagicGrid book and recent "Agile MBSE Cookbook" book by Bruce DOUGLAS.
Brian HAAN has 30 years of experience in Systems Engineering and Systems Engineering Management across a range of technical domains and industries. As a Systems Engineering Manager, he has led multiple digital transformation initiatives, including one credited with reducing testing costs by 70%, translating to a projected $42 million in savings. His technical expertise lies in modeling and simulating adversarial resilience to identify and develop requirements to help missions, systems, and organizations withstand, adapt to, and recover from adversarial disruptions or attacks. This work informs the design of safeguards and adaptive response strategies against intelligent, evolving threats. Currently, Brian serves as Director of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Simulation Process Data Management (SPDM) Process Consulting and Services at Dassault Systèmes. In this role, he helps clients realize the value of MBSE, SPDM, and their integration in the development of complex systems in competitive environments.
