Lorenzo VERONESI is a Research Manager for IDC Manufacturing Insights EMEA.
In this role, Veronesi supports all the IDC MI research services for EMEA, by analyzing IT opportunities in multiple manufacturing industry sub-verticals, by writing quarterly industry updates and standardized reports based on annual surveys on manufacturing end-users. He is also often involved in consulting projects in EMEA for end-users, IT vendors and public authorities. Veronesi also actively contributes to the Worldwide Operations Technology research services and related consulting activities.
His research focus spans across key processes such as supply chain management, product lifecycle management and manufacturing operations management in multiple manufacturing verticals, including among others automotive, aerospace, machinery, high-tech, chemicals, CPG, and fashion.
Veronesi also handles the IT spending forecast models and IDC Manufacturing Insights' Global Production Index data.
Before joining IDC, Veronesi worked as analyst in multiple projects including research in the industrial logistics sector and as advisor for public authorities in Italy.
Veronesi holds an MSc Degree in Regional Science at the London School of Economics and Political Science and has graduated cum laude at the Bocconi University in Milan.
