Benedikt has a PhD degree in aerospace engineering and 10+ years of CFD experience. Prior to working with Lattice-Boltzmann at Exa Corporation and now Dassault Systemes, he was a Wing Shape Engineer at Airbus, using traditional CFD tools for the design of transonic cruise wings.
Dr. Marco KUNZE is an international electromagnetic professional with over 25 years of experience. Presently he is focusing on leveraging aerospace and defense industry knowhow to develop industry process experiences and enable their deployment globally. He is contributing to EUROCAE WG-31 on the usage of electromagnetic simulation for certification and serves as an EMC professional of the IEEE German EMC chapter. Marco is an IEEE senior member.
Clement studied in France and holds a MSc in Aerospace Engineering with a specialization in fluid mechanics and multi-physics coupling. During his Master he completed two internships, one with SAFRAN Group and one with Airbus Group. After his master, he moved to Germany where he joined the aeroacoustics team of EXA Corporation (now Dassault Systèmes). He then relocated to the U.S. to join the A&D team focused in aeroacoustics and aerodynamics as applied to the Urban Air Mobility and propulsion industry.
Torsten MOECKER holds a PhD degree in mechanical engineering from RWTH Aachen University in Germany and has worked in the field of nonlinear finite element analysis and lightweight design of aerospace structures for over 15 years. He joined SIMULIA in 2005 as an Application Engineer providing technical solution support for the Abaqus suite of products. In his current role as SIMULIA Senior Industry Solutions Manager, he works on simulation applications for the aerospace industry.
Christopher JONES graduated from the University of Paderborn (Germany) in 2010 with an electronical engineering diploma, focused on the numerical simulation of electro-magnetic waves and waveguides. Following that he spent two years researching plasmonics waveguides at the University of Hagen (Germany). In 2013 he joined Dassault Systèmes working as a solution consultant for systems engineering & numeric simulation. He relocated to Los Angeles in the summer of 2016 to support simulation market across all industries in North America.
Francesco graduated from Politecnico di Milano with a degree in aerospace engineering. He has over 10 years of in applying CFD methods to industrial problems. For the last 5 years, he focused on the Aerospace and Defense market with particular attention to the eVTOL segment.
