Marli STRYDOM is part of the SIMULIA EMAG R&D Portfolio management.  Marli holds a master's degree in Electrical and Electronics engineering from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa, where she focused on theoretical computational electromagnetics.  As part of CST and later Dassault Systemes EMAG R&D Portfolio team, she has extensive experience with planning and management of a wide range of applications, in both high frequency as well as low frequency electromagnetics domains.  Marli is the role manager of the Electromechanical Analysis Engineer role.

Yoseph GESSESE is a SIMULIA Industry Process Expert senior specialist at Dassault Systèmes, where he focuses on electromagnetic simulation workflows for the design and optimization of electrical machines.

Yoseph holds a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Odessa State Polytechnic University and a Ph.D. in Electrical Machines from Darmstadt University of Technology, where his doctoral research concentrated on the analysis, design, and testing of high‑speed electrical machines. Following his Ph.D., he worked in the wind industry as a generator development engineer, leading the development of multi‑megawatt generators for on‑ and offshore wind turbines, including specification, FEM‑based design optimization, validation, and supplier coordination. Prior to his industry career in Europe, he was a lecturer in electrical machines and drives at Adama University in Ethiopia.
