Mohan JAYAWARDENE completed his Ph.D. at Loughborough University in 2000 and continued to work at the university as a Research Engineer based within the Center for Mobile Communication and Research (CMCR) from 2000 – 2005. In October 2005 Mohan joined CST AG as an application engineer and after a couple of years in a technical role took over the leadership of the sales and technical support team in the UK and by 2010 as the Country Manager for CST UK Ltd. After the acquisition of CST AG into DASSAULT SYSTEMES, his current role today is SIMULIA Sales Director responsible for leading the channel partner simulation team across EuroNorth.
Dr. RABBANI received an M.Sc. degree in communications engineering in 2012, and a Ph.D. degree in wireless communications and sensors in 2018, from the University of Birmingham (UoB), U.K. He worked as Research Fellow at UoB for 5 years, and at Meggitt Airframe Systems as Microwave Engineer for about a year and then joined Plextek Services Ltd as Senior Consultant (Antenna & Propagation) in October 2022. He has worked on numerous industrial and academic projects on the new millimeter-wave reconfigurable antenna and metamaterial technologies for 5G/6G, IoT, defense, healthcare systems, and satellite applications. He has published over 42 papers in scientific journals and conferences.
Sajid ASIF, an Industry Process Consultant at Dassault Systèmes, leads SIMULIA EuroNorth's technical sales engagements, specializing in Electromagnetics technology across multiple industries. Previously, as an Antenna Engineer at Celestia UK, he focused on designing, developing, and testing passive RF/microwave circuits and phased array antennas for Satcom and terrestrial applications. Alongside his industry work, he served as a Researcher and Lecturer at various academic institutions. Besides his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees, Dr. Asif also holds a Ph.D. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from North Dakota State University, USA. He is a member of IET and holds senior membership in IEEE.
Abdulmajid is a CST Engineer at Simuserv, specializing in antenna design, simulation, and measurements. With a Ph.D. in the Design of high-gain DRA antennas from the University of Sheffield (awarded in March 2020), he has extensive expertise in developing high-gain Dielectric Resonator Antennas (DRAs). Additionally, he worked as a Near-field Probe Designer at YIC Technology from March to September 2021. His passion for antenna engineering led them to also serve as a lecturer at Bani Waleed University, Libya, from 2012 to 2014, teaching courses on antennas and electromagnetics.
Matt FULLER is currently the Antenna Design Manager at Sofant Technologies Ltd., an exciting startup company designing Ku/Ka-band satellite terminals. These electronically scanning flat panel antennas utilize low-loss MEMS phase shifters. The current workflow means accurately predicting RF losses in modeling is critical. Matt FULLER has been in antenna design for more than 25 years, in both defense and commercial environments. For the last 20 years, I have been working in phased array design.
