IIT (ISM) has been entrusted by the DST, GoI, for the establishment of a Mining Technology (Exploration & Mining) Innovation Hub under the National Mission for Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS) based on the project proposal submitted to SERB followed by presentation and interaction with the expert committee. As mandated under the framework of NM-ICPS, Technology Innovation Hub (TIH) at IIT (ISM) is aimed at becoming the nodal center in heading the innovation activities in mining and allied domains.
