Vincent WIERS obtained his Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management Science in 1993 at the Eindhoven University of Technology (TUE), specializing in Information Systems for Production and Inventory Control. In 1997, he achieved his Ph.D. on the Human Factor in Production Control at the same university. After working for various consulting companies in knowledge technology and supply chain management, Vincent founded the consultancy company Twinlog in 2003, focusing on implementing the DELMIA Quintiq planning software.
In 2019, Vincent decided to join Dassault Systèmes as part of the DELMIA Brand organization. Now, as part of the team of Industry Process Experts, he focuses on planning architectures, and creating a bridge between complex manufacturing companies and the DELMIA Quintiq supply chain planning and optimization solutions.
Besides his professional pursuits, Vincent WIERS is a well-respected author. He has published various books on Production Control, Supply Chain Management and Advanced Planning & Scheduling. He has also written numerous papers and blog posts on this topic. Demonstrating a commitment to education and training, Vincent facilitates the yearly Master’s course on Advanced Planning & Scheduling at TUE.
In his current role, Bas VAN DER BIJL is responsible for the logistics domain within DELMIA. His responsibility ranges from defining the development strategy for our logistics solution to supporting our customers worldwide with their business challenges and transformations targeting cost-efficiency, resilience, and sustainability. Before joining Dassault Systemes, Bas worked for over 10 years in the Smart Mobility sector, where he launched multiple innovative solutions.
Richard VAN MERSBERGEN studied Social Science Informatics at the University of Amsterdam. He began his career as a knowledge engineer at Bolesian in Helmond, the Netherlands. Following this, he co-founded Explicit Knowledge, where he worked as a Java developer and knowledge engineer. During this period, he also collaborated with Quintiq, undertaking several implementations in the role of a developer.
In 2005, Richard officially joined Dassault Systèmes, taking on roles as a developer and technical consultant for DELMIA Quintiq projects in the metals industry. Over the years, he has expanded his focus to include workforce planning as well as fleet and crew planning. Currently, Richard serves as a Solution Architect with the DELMIA Brand Services team, supporting DELMIA Quintiq projects worldwide. He also documents and shares best practices to benefit the entire DELMIA Quintiq community.
Geoff LOCKET’s career in advanced supply chain planning solution design; started nearly 30 years ago, with the development of novel forecasting and inventory planning solutions for Tarmac Group's limestone production facilities. Since then, his appetite for innovation and curiosity regarding best practices across industries & planning disciplines. Has taken him to several leading supply chain planning companies, in various global geographies.
Geoff is a trusted leader in the fields of supply chain planning and optimization, having been directly involved in more than 135 supply chain solution deployments, in multiple industries. From the manufacturing of aircraft engines, to the preparation of bagged salads. Throughout this time, he has retained a specific interest and focus on the CPG industry in general and in food and beverage manufacturing more specifically; leading solution deployments in dairy; protein; soft-drinks; brewing; salads; convenience foods; ingredients; sauces; biscuits; chocolates; spirits and other associated areas.
Since 2020, Geoff has been a key member of Dassault Systèmes' DELMIA Brand organization, serving as an Industry Process Expert. Here his focus lies in exploring emerging technology trends and driving innovative planning processes. Geoff specializes in integrating these advancements into established planning paradigms, leveraging DELMIA's integrated planning solutions to deliver practical and impactful results.
Geoff is APICS CSCP certified and also a member of the BCS. He graduated in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science from Aston university in 1998.
Adrian has spent over 20 years in customer-facing positions ranging from sales and marketing, to fulfilment and account management. His career focus has been on problem solving and development within emerging and rapid growth segments to enable customer success across a wide range of industries from Hi Tech to Retail and Logistics and across multiple disciplines such as Supply Chain, Manufacturing Simulation and Analytics.
Ingrid ZWIERS is a Senior Solution Architect at Ab Ovo, specializing in applying Operations Research and advanced analytics to real-world business challenges. With a strong analytical foundation and a pragmatic mindset, she focuses on translating complex theoretical models into practical, workable solutions that deliver measurable value to customers. Ingrid enjoys collaborating closely with clients to understand their operational realities and craft solutions that are both effective and sustainable. Her work reflects a deep commitment to bridging the gap between academic rigor and practical implementation in the field of optimization and planning.
Dr. Mark WILLEMS has been a part of DELMIA Quintiq for over 20 years. He was initially involved in implementation projects for customers in the broadcasting, logistics and rail industries. He has been responsible for the technology roadmap of the core DELMIA Quintiq software for the past 10 years. Dr. Willems is currently part of the Portfolio Management team.
Arnaud PRORIOL has an extensive international experience working in Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) with major industrial companies including several Fortune 500 international companies. He joined the ORTEMS company in 1995, returning to France after a period in the steel industry in the United States. He had several positions in R&D, professional services, product management and business development for batch process industries.
Between 2010 and 2016, he is managing ORTEMS R&D and customer support department to deliver best-of-breed APS solutions for ORTEMS focus industries and PlannerOne, a web component for ERP, covering Production Scheduling and Workforce Planning.
He joined the DELMIA Brand when the ORTEMS company was acquired by Dassault Systèmes in 2016.
Arnaud PRORIOL is DELMIA R&D Applications Director in charge of Supply Chain Planning & Production Scheduling applications on 3DEXPERIENCE Cloud platform, DELMIA Ortems and DELMIA Quintiq applications since 2019.
He is a Graduate Engineer, with a Masters in Economics & Corporate Management, and is APICS CPIM certified.
