The increased adoption of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) within the medical sector has led to a significant focus on digitizing medical standards into norm models, offering crucial support for norm compliance. This shift promotes consistency and facilitates the traceability of system model elements with their respective norm model elements. However, current digitization processes heavily rely on manual extraction and transformation, particularly from PDF documents into SysML models. Simultaneously, the rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications provides an opportunity to automate these tasks, further improving norm compliance.

The presentation will begin by addressing its contribution to integrating AI with MBSE, highlighting the description of vision capabilities for an AI4MBSE framework. It will then explore the specific emphasis placed on extracting and transforming medical standards information from documents into SysML norm models to assist in compliance. Finally, the presentation will outline future endeavors aimed at exploring additional AI4MBSE use cases.
