Denis Bourguignon joined Bureau Veritas in 2018 as Nuclear Technical and Development manager after spending 5 years in the UK working on the NNB HPC project as engineering manager of the manufacturing and inspection team. Denis has a strong technical and project management background built on more than 20 years’ experience working on various nuclear projects in France and in the UK. His experience includes a broad scope of engineering activities, manufacturing, and surveillance of the supply chain, nuclear codes, and regulations, both operating reactor, and new-build commissioning and decommissioning. Today, Denis is in charge of developing the business in China and the UK, promoting the implementation of the Nuclear Quality Standard ISO19443 as General Secretary of NQSA, and supporting the use of digital tools such as NCDigital – Bureau Veritas collaborative platform for Conformity Assessment.
