A series of three online events on November 12, 19 and 27, 2020 examining new digital transformation technologies that will reshape Australia's construction sector in the next normal.
Construction is Australia's third largest industry in terms of employment and share in national GDP. The sector is earmarked to lead Australia's economic recovery in the next normal, as the country seeks to meet the infrastructure needs of its expanding urban population, projected to grow from 25 million today to 41 million people in the next three decades.
However, challenges are intensifying for Australia's construction sector. The recent lockdowns have resulted in significant project delays. These are further complicated by shortage of skilled labour, rising cost of raw materials and concerns over on-site worker health and safety in view of the global pandemic situation.
The business case for digital transformation to increase productivity and capital efficiency of construction projects is stronger than before.
Over a series of three online events on November 12, 19 and 27, 2020, industry experts shared their experience, knowledge and insights on how to unlock the full potential of digital transformation technologies in construction.
