Virtual Workshop: A Virtual Rock Lab for Enhanced Oil Recovery

Rock properties, such as absolute and relative permeability, capillary pressure and others are crucial inputs for reservoir simulation software required to forecast the hydrocarbon production.

Powered by our best-in-class Lattice-Boltzmann physics, SIMULIA DigitalROCK provides reliable, predictive technology for digital pore-scale simulation of relative permeability. The technology to accurately simulate two-phase flow, such as oil and water, through reservoir rock was co-developed and extensively validated with Oil & Gas industry leaders.

This Virtual Workshop will:

• Present validation data and the benefits of DigitalROCK
• Provide examples of EOR studies
• Demonstrate the ease-of-use of a complex multiphase simulation technology
• Explore other applications of this technology
