Neil currently works at Assembly OSM, a modular building startup that has grown out of SHoP Architects. At AOSM Neil leads the technology group focusing on software development, and model-based manufacturing, and assembly of high-rise buildings. He holds a B.S. and M.Arch in Architecture from the University of Michigan and is a licensed architect. He has taught at Columbia University, the University of Michigan, and the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). In the Spring 2010 term, Neil was part of the C-BIP studio teaching team at Columbia University GSAPP. He is also a former lecturer at the University of Michigan where he operated the school's Digital Fabrication Lab and taught in the areas of design, construction, and fabrication.
