She was first in charge of Business Development for the Group, then became CEO of Engie in Qatar and later VP for the group procurement performance plan. She finally was appointed COO of Engie Europe and Russia.
She is also an experienced board member, with board position at PSA and currently at Air France. Florence has been nominated Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum in 2013. Florence is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique / Corps des Mines.
Samson KHAOU is Executive Vice President, Asia Pacific, Dassault Systèmes. He is responsible for the overall growth and performance of Dassault Systèmes in Asia Pacific, overseeing the development of business strategy in line with market opportunities and the company's mission to partner in the digital transformation and growth agenda of key countries and segments in the region.
Prior to this role, he was Managing Director for India for three years (2016-2019), Managing Director for Asia Pacific South region for six years (2011-16), for Industry Services in Europe for three years (2008-10) and for Korea for two years (2006-2007). He joined Dassault Systèmes in 1989 as a R&D engineer and has been holding several key management positions within the company in both Europe and Asia.

As a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from NIT, Jaipur Ms. Pamela Tikku has been working in the Automotive Sector since 1992. She started her career with Rico Auto Industries and later joined Honda Siel Cars India Limited and looked after vendor development and component development activities. She joined the Society of Automobile Manufactures (SIAM) in 1999 and looked after various technical and policy issues related to the automotive sector in India.
In 2006 she joined NATRiP and was involved in the planning and procurement of facilities for testing and R&D for NATRiP centers. NATRIP project is funded by the Government of India for Rs 3845 Cr. This included state-of-the-art facilities in the emerging technology areas of Powertrain, Passive Safety, Fatigue, EMC, NVH, Infotronics, etc. Has taken an active role in finalizing the supplier, benchmarking the facilities with global facilities.
In 2010 she took charge of the Powertrain Department of ICAT, One of the leading homologation centers in the country in addition to the equipment planning and procurement activities under NATRIP.
Powertrain department capabilities at ICAT have been drastically enhanced to cater not only to the certification up to BS VI standards but also for the development and calibration to meet such regulations. In 2016 her role was enhanced to Chief Business Officer looking after business development and planning for ICAT.
She is an active member of the regulation formulation process for India for the automotive industry and also has been representing India at WP.29. On Part Consolidation and Reverse Shape Morphing to Manufacture Topology Optimized Aerospace Structures Additively
Modern-day aerospace structures are subjected to complex static and dynamic loading patterns. The critical requirement of sustaining the allowable stresses and strains must be met with very tight weight constraints. However, the condition of lightweight designs often leads to a high level of geometrical complexity, making it challenging to realize through conventional manufacturing methods. The parts fabricated through traditional manufacturing methods, such as casting, rolling, forging, and machining, are limited to some standard geometries and shapes. The manufacturing process also considers how different parts will be assembled and joined. This includes threaded fasteners, non-removable riveting, bonding using adhesives/brazing, and permanent joining through welding. Moreover, parts manufactured through traditional methods are subjected to inhomogeneous stress distribution. Consequently, using continuous material to fabricate such a structure would lead to overdesigning, leaving scope to make the part more efficient by selectively removing material from relatively less stressed regions.
This sets the way for topology optimization technique with which optimized material distribution is achieved within a given design space satisfying a minimization or maximization objective such as mass, stiffness, and frequency, subject to certain constraints such as stress deformation. The topology optimized metallic parts can be additively manufactured through the laser powder bed fabrication method to produce complex shapes with reduced design and build time, on-demand manufacturing, instant assemblies, part consolidation, easy model changes, part customization, freedom of creation. It increased the buy-to-fly ratio with less material wastage. However, the high-temperature gradients induced by laser melting render residual stresses that may lead to thermal distortions. If not checked, the thermal distortions may result in tolerance errors, support structure failure, interlayer delamination, part-recoater interference, voids, and improper fusion. Several techniques have been suggested to mitigate the effect of thermal distortions, such as laser scanning paths having shorter deposition passes, preheating of the substrate, and localized preheating of the deposition region. However, these methods are time-consuming and are limited to small parts requiring modification in the laser deposition system. Further, the numerical modeling of additive manufacturing to find the ideal set of processing parameters is limited to small part volumes, focuses on individual printed layers, and is computationally expensive for full-scale part modeling. Hence, a technique is required with which the thermal distortions can be minimized without any modifications in the manufacturing system or equipment and is also applicable to industrial scale components.
To this end, the present study illustrates the replacement of a sub-assembly of two brackets with a single topology optimized component. The topology optimized part thus eliminates the need for fasteners to join both the brackets, thereby making the design more straightforward yet effective. The final topology optimized part weighs only 278 g, i.e., 69% lighter than the 909 g original design, yet meets the design constraints. A maximum displacement of 0.19 mm near the point of applied load is within the upper limit of 0.24 mm in the original design. Also, the maximum stress in the optimized topology part is 52 MPa which is 35% less than the 80 MPa in the original design. Moreover, homogeneous stress distribution in the optimized region allows for efficient material utilization.
The topology optimized part is then virtually printed through powder bed fabrication technique. Proper part orientation and support structure are chosen by assigning priority levels to various selection parameters. Virtual printing is then carried out using the laser powder bed fabrication method by sequentially coupled thermo-mechanical simulations. Because of the inherent nature of this technique, thermal distortions occur in the printed part. The reverse shape morphing technique is used to compensate for the predicted part distortions by scaling the dimensions of the original piece by negative ones. The approach helps in reducing the thermal distortions in the printed part by at least ten times. Therefore, the reverse shape morphing technique proves to be an efficient way to overcome the thermal distortions during additive manufacturing and get the desired shape per requirement. Hence, using topology optimization coupled with reverse shape morphing technique, simple, lightweight, and efficient designs can be additively manufactured to serve the critical needs of the aircraft industry.

He has worked on two major projects of DST and CSIR. His research has led to 14 patents being registered to his credit.

Koodli started his career as manufacturing engineer working in the shop floor for more than 3 years before starting his CAD/CAM journey. Prior to joining DASSAULT SYSTEMES, he was with IBM for 13 years where in he worked very closely with most of the large Automotive and Aerospace organizations like Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, Ashok Leyland, Force Motors, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, National Aeronautics Limited and Aeronautical Development Agency to name few. His accomplishments include establishing the Design and Manufacturing processes at the customer’s site leveraging the DASSAULT SYSTEMES technologies.
In his current role @ DASSAULT SYSTEMES, he is actively involved in contributing towards building the skilled workforce of the future on sustainable basis. Some of the initiatives where he is involved include Center of Excellence for the Aerospace & Defense in Bengaluru and Center of Excellence for the Automotive, Tooling and Mining in the remote areas of Karnataka in the Hyderabad Karnataka region. With his vast experience working closely with the Indian Automotive and Aerospace industry, he is working towards Industry and Academia collaboration for the success of this initiative. Kiran DIVEKAR is currently working as Director of Business Planning for Dassault Systemes India. In his role, he is responsible for building a multi-year business plan and strategy for the entire Dassault Systèmes solution portfolio to target the markets in India spanning across all multiple industries like Automotive, Aerospace, CPG, etc.
Kiran Divekar was heading the manufacturing portfolio with DELMIA brand and has worked very closely with customers like TATA Motors, Ashok Leyland, Mahindra, Hero MotoCorp, Havells and ITC. He has promoted and worked extensively in implementing the Smart Factory/Industrie4.0 & Digital Manufacturing initiatives with these customers.
During his stint in R&D, Kiran worked with Global customers like Boeing, Toyota, Airbus and Embraer. His contribution with Boeing on the 787 Dreamliner program played a key role in designing the solution for Boeing for their Manufacturing Planning and Shop Floor Applications. Kiran has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from UVCE, Bangalore, Master of Technology (M Tech) in Design Engineering from IIT Delhi and a MBA from Michigan State University, USA
Prasad leads CATIA’s Global Industry Process Success (IPS) organization in Dassault Systèmes for Building & Civil Infrastructure.
A passionate civil engineer with 24 years of profound experience implementing digital transformation in construction, Prasad is a strong preacher of computational design and process automation with Virtual Twins for building and civil infrastructure projects. He finds himself fortunate to be on driver’s seat while construction industry is going through an Industrial Renaissance all over the world.
Rajiv has over two decades of experience across different industries in technical, sales, and sales management roles. He started his career as an application Engineer, over the period he was instrumental in the facilitation and adoption of global best practices of CAD/CAM/PLM solutions at various OEM’s and Suppliers. Prior to joining DASSAULT SYSTEMES INDIA, Rajiv was with IBM responsible for Major Accounts. Rajiv has a Bachelors’ degree in Mechanical Engineering from Madras University and a Master's in Design & Manufacturing from Ecole des Mines, France.
