Sustainability is one of the strongest business drivers facing the industry. The product development transformation which is needed to support sustainability covers three important categories where simulation and modeling play a role: Alignment to regulations, faster time to market as well as the workforce of the future. In the presentation, we will show examples of three different industries to demonstrate how the tight coupling between modeling and simulation (MODSIM) creates the basis to reach those goals. Additionally, democratization and automation of simulation processes will be shown to highlight the topic of sustainability of the workforce of tomorrow to support designers and product developers to also engage in early-stage requirement validation.
