Gilmar PEREIRA holds a Master in Mechanical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto, and a PhD in applied mechanics from the Technical University of Denmark. Gilmar has more than 10 years of experience across different industries, including Aerospace, Wind Energy, and Medical Devices, always working within simulation and modeling, virtual development, digitalization, and virtual twin thematics.
Currently, Gilmar is managing the Modelling and Simulation Department at Novo Nordisk. The Modelling and Simulation Department is the knowledge hub for the mechanical engineering domain, where multiple innovation projects and expertise are developed. A flagship innovation project that is under development by this department is the Virtual Development, which aims to virtualise the medical design process, democratize knowledge and skills across the different design engineers, and enable computer-aided optimization.
Jose GARCIA-URRUCHI, Head of Digital Engineering Capability, has been working at Jaguar Land Rover since 2018. He has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London and started his professional career at Rolls-Royce plc., where he stayed for 17 years. During his early career at Rolls-Royce, Jose worked as a CAD/CAE analyst in a number of projects, including the Lockheed Martin F35-Lighting II, Boeing Dreamliner’s Trent 1000 engine and Airbus A350 Trent XWB engine. Later on, Jose became the Global Chief of Design Technology, where he led the effort to digitise Engineering. Jose is now responsible for the modernisation of the engineering toolset across Jaguar Land Rover, where he can bring his expertise from the aerospace industry.
Marco Ferrogalini belongs today to Airbus Group leading the digital transformation on the Modelling and Simulation stream within the DDMS (Digital Design Manufacturing and Services) program across all Airbus divisions (commercial aircraft, defense and space systems, and helicopters).
Along his career he has been involved in complex vehicles system engineering activities, especially on the systems development and integration on sports cars, on rolling stocks and more recently on aerospace systems. He has always been acting on two axes. On one hand, he has been developing processes/methods/tools approaches aiming at continuous improvements, on the other hand, he has been managing large engineering teams on the operational side (project execution).
He has quite a wide experience in modeling and simulation approaches (FEM, vehicle dynamics, CFD, Acoustic) with a strong focus on MBSE Model-Based System Engineering for system operational analysis and functional/logical architectures. Indeed, in the last decade, he has been pioneering and leading the introduction of this approach in the railway industrial sector in two of the major worldwide OEMs (Alstom and Bombardier) developing end to end all the related aspects (processes, methods, tools, training/coaching, and change management).
Despite the above professional activities, Marco remains very active in the System Engineering social networking contributing to the MBSE Working Group of the INCOSE and giving lectures on System Engineering and Model-Based System Engineering in many Engineering schools.
Since January 2013, he’s been certified as INCOSE CSEP.
After studying civil engineering in Karlsruhe and doing his doctorate in CAE at the Technical University of Munich, Dr. Florian JURECKA joined the start-up FE-Design GmbH and became part of the management team there. After a part-time MBA in innovation and leadership at the Technical University of Munich and the acquisition by Dassault Systèmes in 2013, he took on various management positions in the group. In 2020, Dr. JURECKA was appointed to the management for Central Europe and only one year later he was given global management of the SIMULIA division.
As Vice President SIMULIA and as part of a dual-leadership, he is now globally responsible for technical sales, marketing, and the service organization of the simulation division of Dassault Systèmes.

He started his career at Dassault Systèmes (3DS) in 1995 in CATIA’s Shape Design Industrialization Team. Then, he joined 3DS International Automotive Competency Center working with renowned customers like HONDA, FIAT, BMW, CHRYSLER and PSA to help them transform their design practices in the area of car body and styling. Through these experiences, he acquired deep knowledge of the automotive sector and customers’ business processes.
In 2011, he was appointed Vice President of the new defined Transportation & Mobility industry, which assists manufacturers and suppliers in developing new mobility experiences for their consumers.

Mr. ROUX holds a language degree from Catholic University and a business degree from Ecole Superieure de Commerce in Grenoble, France.
He started his career in 1989 in the CAD-CAM Market as Sales Engineer & Sales Director selling Computer-Aided Machining and Shopfloor solution for CncMachines. He then joined TECNOMATIX in 1996, specialized in Manufacturing Processes Simulation, and occupied the position of Managing Director in UK & Sweden. He joined Exain in 2001 as managing director for Southern and Western Europe. In April 2003 Mr. ROUX assumed the position of President of European Operations and in 2014 became also responsible for the Global Aerospace activity within Exa.
Since April 2018 and after the acquisition of Exaby Dassault Systemesin November 2017, Jean-Paul leads the Sales Operation for EMEAR / INDIA for SIMULIA.
Gregor leads the worldwide SIMULIA Industry Process Success team. He is working in the field of simulation for 23 years, 18 of them at Dassault Systemes. Before then he has been with Abaqus Inc. Gregor holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Technical University Vienna.
