Designer-driven simulation, or MODSIM, is a crucial tool for product development that unifies modeling and simulation into a single process. This approach enables designers and engineers to optimize the design and performance of their products with greater efficiency and accuracy.

In this presentation, we will demonstrate how MODSIM approach is used to model subsea pipeline lateral buckling, by incorporating modelling and assessment guidelines in industry codes like DNV-RP-F110.  In detail we will look at:
