These terms are familiar to all Medical Device designers: User Needs, Design Inputs, and Requirements. While the terms themselves are familiar, their meanings are often the subject of confusion and cause us to ask a variety of questions.

Fortunately, through the art and practice of Systems Engineering with model-based methods, we gain insight into how the information represented by those terms is related to our stakeholder research and how it informs the design of our devices.  In this webinar, we will explore the concepts in MBSE that enable good requirements development and communication.  We will examine a sample model of a prosthetic device that illustrates the power of CATIA Magic in engineering, tracing, and verifying requirements.
