Materials in the real world are nonlinear. Therefore, any material representation must be capable of producing an accurate description of the corresponding physical behavior across all scales and structures.
In this e-seminar, we will take a close look at the long-established SIMULIA framework for material modeling. The framework offers access to a wide variety of physical behaviors, and provides customization to represent novel materials, including user-defined material models.
In addition, we will look at the new 3DEXPERIENCE® app for calibrating material models. This new tool uses an optimization framework, accepts many different kinds of test data, and has the capability to calibrate several material models.
