November 12, 2026 - 8:00am EST
Take the 3D wire harness into manufacturing planning and robotic integration. Attendees will develop the Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM), create the harness assembly process, and assign components, resources and tooling, including the robotic workcell.
The session will also demonstrate how to create detailed 3D work instructions for harness assembly and bring the digital harness into a robotic cell featuring a UR10e robot mounted on a MiR AMR.
Attendees will explore how the robot can locate clips and pegs on the formboard, route wires, pause for operator interaction such as cable labeling, and execute end-effector operations including cable cutting. The session will also cover the structure of the robotic cell and communication between the robot and AMR.
What you will experience:
The value: Connect engineering definition directly to manufacturing planning and robotic execution, providing clear, contextual information for production while supporting automation, operator interaction and repeatable manufacturing processes.
