This session is dedicated to Dassault Systemès end-to-end solutions
which enable designers and engineers to obtain new design proposals for given load definitions with the help of simulation & efficient optimization.
The first part of this e-seminar will be dedicated to the structural optimization of loaded components. Setup and postprocessing of the optimization, as well as the CAD reconstruction, will be explained and demonstrated within an online demo.
This will be followed by an introduction to the fluid topology optimization approach meant for the automated design of flow channels at low flow losses. Applying this solution enables designers of powertrain and HVAC ducts and manifolds to create innovative shapes that meet the requested pressure drop. The setup of the optimization run, result extraction and the usage of the reconstruction capabilities will be discussed here.
