26 years of expertise in Product Development & End to End Virtual Product / Experience Innovation.Since December 2019, CEO of CATIA at DASSAULT SYSTEMES.
He started his career at Dassault Systèmes (3DS) in 1995 in CATIA’s Shape Design Industrialization Team. Then, he joined 3DS International Automotive Competency Center working with renowned customers like HONDA, FIAT, BMW, CHRYSLER and PSA to help them transform their design practices in the area of car body and styling. Through these experiences, he acquired deep knowledge of the automotive sector and customers’ business processes.
In 2011, he was appointed Vice President of the new defined Transportation & Mobility industry, which assists manufacturers and suppliers in developing new mobility experiences for their consumers.
As CATIA CEO, he is looking forward to empower the Community of Design Innovators to Engineer & Experience the best System of System from Concept to Experience Driven Engineering.
Daniel PYZAK graduated in Mechanical Engineering. He has over 38 years of experience in CAD/CAM/CAE/PLM. After positions held in technical support and product management in various CAD/CAM companies (Cisi, Cisigraph, Matra Datavision), he joined Dassault Systèmes Provence in 1999 to manage the Competency Center. The main activities of DSP Competency Center are around tooling, machining, reverse engineering, rapid prototyping/additive manufacturing and data exchanges.
Ten years later, he became responsible of different CATIA technical teams inside for EMEAR (Design, Engineering). And since January 2020, he’s managing the worldwide CATIA Mechanical Industry Process Success organization with a strong focus on Lightweight Engineering: Generative Design, Composites, Mold & Die, Additive Manufacturing, Modeling & Simulation.
Alongside graduation with a PhD in Material Sciences & Engineering Mechanics, Pierre-Yves Mechin worked for the Marine engineering of racing yachts (60 feet boats IMOCA, VOR 70 feet, Ultime boat, America’s Cup...) to contribute on structural design and material mechanical tests. In 2017, he joined Dassault-Systèmes as part of the CATIA Composites team to pursue the double goal of first improving the accuracy of virtual simulation, taking into account the microstructure of composite & possible effect of defects, second of extending the unique 3DEXPERIENCE to deal with integrated Design, Simulation & Manufacturing.
REZA has over 20 years of experience in executive management, R&D, mergers and acquisitions and has deep knowledge of both discrete and the formulated industries. Reza has been with DASSAULT SYSTEMES and the BIOVIA brand since 2012. As CSO, he is responsible for BIOVIA’s overall portfolio and strategy. After his PhD program in computational mechanics, he began his career in defense R&D. REZA then moved on to an executive role at a Palo Alto startup (MARC Analysis Research Corporation) which later merged with MSC Software, developers of PLM scientific software with focus on physics based modeling and simulation.
As CTO of MSC Software, REZA was responsible for R&D, product management and product strategy. REZA is a regular speaker at a number of international life science and material science events as well as holds a number of advisory board positions. REZA lives in La Jolla Ca. He retains an adjunct faculty status at UCSD and SDSU graduate schools of engineering.
François MELOCCO leads the software department at Coriolis Composites. He graduated from the University of Manchester (UMIST) with an MSc in in thermal power fluids engineering. After many years working at Dassault Systèmes mostly with leading roles for CATIA Composites R&D, he now brings his experience to the 3 solutions developed by Coriolis : CADFiber and CATFiber are machine-independant offline programming solutions for automated manufacturing of composite parts, and Simureal is a program validation solution.
While CADFiber and Simureal are standalone solutions, CATFiber is embedded in CATIA/DELMIA V5 and 3DEXPERIENCE, a result of the close partnership between Dassault Systèmes and Coriolis.
