Narayan is Chief Operations Officer at satsearch, a global marketplace for space, helping engineers source products & services from global suppliers for ground, launch, and space. Narayan is a space entrepreneur and policy professional with an outstanding track record of building and leading spacetech initiatives. Alongside his business experience Narayan is also an Associate Research Fellow at the European Space Policy Institute and an advisor to SEDS India.
Rakesh SASIBHUSHAN is the Chairman and Managing Director Antrix, the commercial arm and PSU under the Indian Space Research Organization. He is a propulsion expert from ISRO who took over as CMD, ANTRIX from 1st June 2016. He believes, that as far as space is concerned, sky is not the limit.
Arun RAO was appointed as Senior Director – 3DS Customer Process Experience – CPE, Dassault Systèmes, Asia Pacific South and has been managing the Channel Business since 2021. As Geo Channel Leader, his mission is to design, build and execute channel business by driving sales through Valued Added Re-sellers (VAR); and he works closely with Geo MD to develop the 3DS AP South Geo vision embracing the Geo landscape by proposing business strategy and execution plan. Arun is also part of the core team in 3DS AP South responsible for developing Dassault Systèmes APS business policy in line with the market opportunities considering the company’s mission to partner in the digital transformation and growth agenda of the region.
Arun is a Global Professional with an International career spanning over 26 years in the field of Engineering, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and Manufacturing technology solutions to varied industry segments worldwide. Has a well-rounded experience in leading teams in Product Sales as well as Software Product Development. He has held a variety of management positions within Dassault Systèmes over his career spanning 25 years in DS. His responsibilities span the areas of Business Development, R&D, Operations Management, Strategic Planning, marketing, and Customer Relationship Management. Arun has worked closely and developed close business relationships with numerous customers of DS in North America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific.
As part of the DS India Sales team for over a decade, he worked closely with many Industry Captains in the region by assisting them in overseeing technology improvement initiatives, aligning information services with business goals, maximizing productivity, and introducing system efficiencies.
During his stint in Software Development, he was Product Manager of Robotics Applications suite of products from Dassault Systèmes – DELMIA brand. Additionally, he was responsible for several strategic customer deployments to ensure success and whose influence and ideas drive the future of Dassault Systèmes solutions.
Arun is a graduate of Bangalore University with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
