The AWI plugin initially created for Abaqus/CAE 2017 was upgraded and named AWI Pro and recently updated to be compatible with Abaqus/CAE 2025 HF1 and renamed AWI 2025. This updated plugin has no expiration date and does not check the Abaqus version. Therefore, the plugin continues to work until a change in Abaqus causes a compatibility issue.
