    CEO - Lightyear

    CEO - Lightyear

The last few years, I have had the privilege to work with some of the brightest people from the TU Eindhoven and the brainport region. We have made a world-champion solar powered family car, an indoor autonomous drone and organised the first Drone Café. They were all a world's first.

Right now, with Lightyear, we have the opportunity to inspire people with a product that seemed science fiction not so long ago, a market-ready solar powered car.

The common denominator for all of the projects I have done: They all used the latest technology to create products that fast-forward us into a new age. We started with a blank piece of paper, full of idea's and both projects received huge response from world-wide media with items on Discovery Channel, BBC World and thousands of websites that copied the AFP/Reuters coverage on our projects.

He believes that technology should be used for the right purposes, not to sell ads or products people don't need, but to directly challenge the world's biggest problems. We are not alone, technology is here to give us a hand.
