After studying at RWTH Aachen University and at Tsinghua University, Beijing he received his “Dr.-Ing.” at Heinz Nixdorf Institute, Paderborn in Systems Engineering. Dr. Tschirner is doing applied research and consulting on deployment strategies for Model-Based Systems Engineering to realize Intelligent Technical Systems. In addition, Dr. Tschirner is Vice President INCOSE Germany  („GfSE“) – an international network of systems engineers.

    Michael W. Grethler, Director of the Industry 4.0 Collaboration LAB, advises and supports IMI in key decision-making processes on the topic of digital transformation through industry 4.0 factors. He is the initiator of the Industry 4.0 Collaboration Lab at KIT together with Prof. Dr. Dr.-Ing. Dr. h.c. Jivka Ovtcharova (IMI). With his ITK experience, he also heads the research area for Solidline AG/Bechtle and develops intelligent components that are able to send their status data in real-time to the manufacturer in a cloud-based manner in order to provide them with the help of big-data analysis methods. Based on the components and their state data, availability-oriented business models are developed in order to offer full service concepts. He is also a member of the industry circle of WiGeP - Berliner Kreis & WGMK - a competence network for the promotion of product innovations in mechanical engineering and related industries such as the automotive industry.

    Since joining Roche in 1994, Peter Wyser held different leadership roles in Sales & Marketing. In 2008, he became the Business Unit Head for Hospital, Private Lab & Research for Roche Diagnostics Switzerland including accountabilities in multinational and global Account Management.  In 2011 he became the Lifecycle Leader cobas 4000 in the global Business Area Centralised and Point of Care Solutions. In 2013 he took the role as Head of Global Platforms & Support, a multisite RnD and Customer Support organization. Since 2017 Peter Wyser is leading the Digital Transformation Program.

    Laurent Blanchard is in charge of developing the EMEAR market and the global ecosystem of Consulting and System Integrators Partners.

    Prior to joining Dassault Systèmes in April 2014, Mr Blanchard was Vice President of Cisco’s Enterprise Business Group with responsibility for accelerating technology growth in Enterprise, Public Sector and Commercial markets in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia (EMEAR) region. He had joined the company in 2007 as Managing Director.

    A graduate of ENSEM in Nancy (France), Mr Blanchard started his career at IBM France in 1989 where he managed the SAP competence center at worldwide level, amongst other positions. He joined Compaq Europe in 1996, and after the merger of Compaq with HP, he became vice-president, managing director of HP France.

    A firm believer that new technologies shape the future for the better, Mr Blanchard is the author of “Optimisme durable”.

    business development, is the building up of new strategic
    partnerships and the stepping up of existing partnerships.
    Besides Germany, Austria and Switzerland the
    EuroCentral region covers the Czech Republic, Poland,
    Hungary and Slovakia.
